All Amateur Eyents will be run under the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rnles of the New Zealand delists Union, and nominations must be sent in npon the printed official forms of the N.Z.C.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 26, which reads— * Every competitor mnst wear complete lothing from the shoulders to tbe knees ; that is Jersey (sleeved tb elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, •hall be disqualified for life. The Com*, mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his de*. •cription of his performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he •hall not he entitled to olaim any prize.
