C.J.C. SPRING MEETING.

(Per Press Association.) Chbistchurch, Nov. 14. The following are the results of the above races after we went to press on Saturday afternoon: — C.J.C. Handicap, 1 mile—Dauntless 1, Marquis of Zetland 2, The Shrew 3. Won by a length. Time, Imin 42 l-ssec. Dividend, £6 15s 6d. Canterbury Cup, 2£ miles—Lady Zetland 1. Euroclydon 2, Epaulet 3. Eu roclydon cut out the running and held fche lead first; time past the stand and well along the back stretch, Lady Zetland bringing up the rear. Near the cud of the back stretch Lady Zetland began to move up and soon wrested the lead from Euroclydon, who again challenged her coming iuto the straight, but the mare came gamely every time White called on her and eventually won pretty much as she liked by a couple of lengths from Euroclydon, the three-year-old a dozen lengths away. There was great cheering on the winner turning to scale. Time, 3min 59 l-ssec. Dividend, £3 9s. Avon Welter, 7 furlongs—Telemeter 1, Bisley 2, Tntanekai 8. Won on tbe post. Time, Imin 30 loeee. Dividend, £31 10s 6d. Curragh Steeplechase —Te Kooti 1, Undesirable Bill 2, Kingswood 3. A good fiuish. Won by a length. Time, 6min 29 4 ssec. Dividend, £20 6s. Electric Plate, 4 furlongs—Multiform 1, Blazer 2, Sir Launcelot 3. Time, 48 3 ssec. Dividend, £3 83. Farewell Handicap, 1 mile—Daredevil 1, Mahaki 2, St. Laura 3. A grand race, and very close finish. Dividend, £8 ss.

(Per Press Association.) London, November 14. The Liverpool Cup was run to-day and resulted as follows:—Count Schoolburg 1, Devone 2, Jarlabh 3. During the race Birchhod threw Loates against a post and broke his thigh.
