RULES and BEGULATIONS. Nominations for all Handicaps, includin lumping eveuts, munt be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY. DECEMBER 9th, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for^ ward I ostal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Publ ; c Performances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities ot •uch performances, and each competitor •ending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position a* the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance Fee on Acceptance, which can be made on the ground. Other events Post Entries. Colors mu^t be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs mast belong to a Club affili* ated with the N Z AA A, and must pro* duce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary, All Amateur Eyents will be run under the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules." The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules ,of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent in upon the printed official forms of the K.Z.C.U. The particular attention of competitors U drawn to Bule 25, which reads— ' Every competitor must wear complete lothing from tbe shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. I* eglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Com* nittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his de* •crtption of his performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he ■hall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each •vent or no first prize, three or no second, four or no third. Entries will be received and sporte conducted under the printed rules of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is. Admission to Grounds — Adults, Is ; Children between 8 and 12 years, Halt ; under 8 years, Free. Full Band in attendance, and a spacious dancing platform provided on the lawn.
