The Wool Market.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, November 8. At the wool sales there was keen competition, and the buoyant tone was fully maintained in the intercolonial markets, tbo attendance increasing, and the bidding of a more general character. With the settlement of the President question Americans are competing more freely, ! and prices in Sydney and Melbourne generally are steady at late lull rates with ftn occasional advance in beßt classes. 'Inferior sorts are hardly so keenly sought after. In the Adelaide market there is still an upward trend, best descriptions selling up to a farthing dearer.
