Nominations for all Handicaps, including jumping events, muit be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for^ ward Postal Notes, *nd not stamps, Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities of such performances, and each competitor sending in nominations must state bis handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification, The remainder of Entrance Fee on Acceptance, which can be made on >he ground. Other events Post Entries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in beats. Amateurs must belong to a Club afiili<« ated with the N Z A A A, and must pro* duce ticket of membership from tkeir Club Secretary. All Amateur Efenfcs will be run under the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicjcle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent ia upon the printed official forms of the N.Z.C.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Bule 25, which reads— ' Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersej (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. It eglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Corns mittee reserve the nght to require any competitor, either before or after any event* to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his dcv senptiou of his performances. The Committee/ may . disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize.
