Birmingham Notes

(From Our Own Correspondent) The anniversary services of the Wesleyan Church were held yesterday. The Rev. C. Harrison, of Feilding, conducted the services both in the morn* ing and evening, at which there was a fair attendance. Our creamery opens to- morrow. Ido not doubt but that in time the number of suppliers will increase. The annual tea meeting in connection with the Wesleyan Church will be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday next. Tea will be on the tables at 5 o'clock, and kept on till about 7. A concert will then be held in the church. It is expected to be a decided success, as a large number of tickete have been disposed of Should the weather be fine on Wednesday there will be a great gathering at Apiti. I say should it be fine, as for some time past it has rained almost daily, and been extremely wintry.
