The Wool Market
(Per Press Association.) London, October 17. The chief feature of the wool market has been the unwavering briskness of Home buyers, but the weakened activity of continental and American buyers has induced irregular prices. Superior Victorian and fine Sydney clothing, as well as good bodied scoured wools, realised July rates. The bulk of the Riverina and Adelaide greasy wools have declined id to £d; heavy faulty and greasy merinos, especially those from New Zealand, fell from" 5 to 10 per cent ; crossbreds improved on last week's prices, and the series closed firm.
