England ana America.

THE VENEZUELA QUESTION. GREAT AMAZEMENT IN LONDON. (Per Press Association) London, Oct. 17. Edward Clarke, speaking at New York, said the Venezuela Commission certainly was adverse, and no honest arbitrator could report in favour of Great Britain upon the evidence. He advised immediate settlement, otherwise there was a grevious risk of a general quarrel with America. Intense amazement is expressed by the press, which condemns the acceptance of the Venezuela case, without first perusing the British side.
