The Elite Comedy Company.
To-night is fixed for the opening performance of the above company, and with the reputation the combination have maintained all through New Zea- ' land the Assembly Rooms should be packed to witness the performance, and those who fail to see this company will have to wait a long time to witness their equals here again. As an instance of their popularity we might mention the proprietors, Delohery, Craydon and Holland, " The Australian Team," bad one engagement in the leading Sydney theatre for eight years without missing one night. They were then engaged by Mr Harry Rickards for two years, and were thus before the Sydney public for ten consecutive years. This fact should be quite sufficient to convince tbe public that they are being visited by a really first class company. On Sunday a sacred and classical concert will be given, and on Monday, the last night of the season, a grand and entire change of programme will be presented. The Feilding Brass Band have been engaged to play for a short time outside the Hall prior to the commencement of the Elite Comedy Company's performance this evening.
