Nominations for all Handicaps, includ* ing jumping eyents, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9tb, not later than 5.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for^ ward Postal .Notes, and not stamps. Un :er 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with tbe IS Z A A A, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. Ail Amateur E -rents will be run under the ' New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent in upon the printed official forms of the N.ZC.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads— ' Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that ia jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks INeglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Corns mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after an> event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his description of his performances. Tbe Com* mittee may disqualify any competitor' before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or oo first prize, three or no second, fonr or no third. Entries will be receiyed and sporte conducted under the printed rules of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is, ' Admission to Grounds — Adults, ls ; ' Children between 8 and 12 years, Hali ' Vnce ; under 8 years. Free. Full Band in attendance, and a spacious i dancing platform provided on the lawn. Trains will stop at the ground. No intoxicating drinks allowed on the ground.
