RULES and REGULATIONS. Nominations for all Handicaps, including jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDN hSDA Y, DECEMBER 9tb, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings en each Handicap Event to be paid on nominatiou, (teeumpanied by a -statement of Publ'C Performances for the la»t two jears (matches included), with dates and localities of such penormances, nnd each competitoi sending in nominations must s:ate bis handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. Amateurs must belong to a Club affi'i* ated with the !\ Z A A A, and must pro* duce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary, All Amateur Eyents will be run under the * New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Bales.' The fiicjele Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent in upon the printed official forms of the N.Z C.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Bale 25, which reads— ' Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Com* mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his da* senption of his performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he •hall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize, three or no ■eoond, four or no third.
