Nominations for all Handicaps, including j umping eyents, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDN h.SDAY, DECEMBER 9th, not later tban 5.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal JNotes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Eyent to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Publ c Portor* mances for the last two years (mat. .hes included), with dates and localities of such performances, and each competitoi sending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position at tbe finish of each race, otherwise he wiil render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance Fee on /Acceptance, which can be made on the ground. Other events Post Entries. Colors mubt be named on Nomination The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in beats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affilis ated with the N Z A A A, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Eyents will be run under the 'New Zealand Amatenr Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run uuder the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations muat be cent in npon the printed official forms of the N.ZC.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads — * Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Coni* mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of hia des scription of his performances. Tbe Com* mittee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in eaoh event or no first prize, three or no second, four or no third. Entries will be received and sporte conducted under the printed rules of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, pnce Is, Admission to Grounds— Adults, ls ; Children between 8 and 12 years, Hall Price ; under 8 years, Free* Full Band in attendance, and a spacious dancing platform provided on the lawn.
