The Crisis in Turkey.
(Per Press Association.) LiONDON, September 28. The Russian Black Sea fleet has arrived at the mouth of the Bosphorus. The Embassies, fearing letters may be subject to espionage, are using pigeons to convey despatches. Lord Rosebery, speaking at the nnveiling of Barns' statue, said war would cause the extermination of the Armenians, and they must rely on strenuous diplomatic action. It would be nnwise for England to act aloDe, and the better course would be to rouse other Christian countries. The tone of several leading Rnssian papers is more amicable. Lord Salisbury had an interview with the Queen and the Czar. The latter, accompanied by the Czarina, attended service at Crathie Church, and offered a prayer for amity between the two coontries. Constantinople September 28. M. Camboo, French Ambassador, in the name of Europe, has demanded that the reforms granted to six villagists should be extended throughout the Empire. __________
