At a meeting of the Canterbury Cricket Association, Mr Hudson's scheme for altering the time twice a year, bo that two hours more daylight might be taken advantage of during the spring end summer montbß, was brought forward. After discussion it was resolved to call a meeting Of delegates from all athletic clubs to coneider the scheme. It. was pointed out that there would be a good deal of prejudice against the proposal, but it could do no harm to business, and would be a boon to the community. In Spain the scheme is said to be working well.
