London Wool Sales.

■ Q t (Per Press Association.) London, Sept. 22. The wool series opened briskly at from par to five per cent decline on last auctions. At the wool sales 13,928 bales of excellent quality were offered ; the selection too was good. There was a large attendance of buyers. Home buyers operated freely. Those from the Continent were quiet while there was an absence of American speculators. Tbere was a tendency of weakness all round. Faulty and heavy crossbreds and Merinos were 5 per cent below the July sales.
