i ..... i.i-Q - ■■■ Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report :— The St. Hill street yards were well filled with asefull stock and the demand for bullocks was brisk. Cows were dull of sale, but young cattle were well competed for. Sheep on the whole were sold at last sale rates. Pigs were slightly easier. We cleared out nearly the whole yard at or after the auction. We quote : Cattle (small fat cows), £3 2s ; store bullocks, £4 to £4 12s 6d ; steers, £2 Is to £3 10s ; cows, £2 2s to £2 7s 6d ; milch cows, up to i' 4 ; yearlings, 30s ; weanets, 14s to 19s. Sheep - Fat wethers, 18s to 14s ; fat ewes, lls 6d ; store wethers, 10s 8d to 11s ; hoggets, 8s Id to 9s 3d ; culls 4s. Pigs— Baconers and choppers, 28s to 41s ; others, 20s to 22s ; porkers, 14s to 16s ; young pigs, 6s to 7s-
