HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Sept. 9. The House on the motion of the Premier decided to take third readings after midnight for the rest of the session to facilitate business. The Abattoirs and Slaughterhouses Bill was read a third time. The Wages Protection Bill, which prevented the deduction of wages for accident insurance, was re-committed. The clause re gumdiggers was reinserted and the bill read a third time. The Poverty Bay Deeds Registration Bill was read a third time. The Natives Reserves Bill was read a second time and referred to the Native Aflairs Committee. The Rating Act Amendment Bill and Married Women's Summary Separation Bill were considered in Committee. The Rating Act Amendment Bill passed through Committee without material amendment and was subsequently put through its final stages. The Married Persons Summary Separation Bill passed through Corr--mittee and its final stages. The Wages Protection Bill was negatived. The Trust Bill was read a third time and passed. The House rose at 2.10 a m.
