o— — [Per Press Association? Wellington, Sept. 3. Tbe Gazette notifies that an Order-in Council declares liver fluke in sheep is a disease for tbe purposes of the Stock Act, and subject to regulations there under. The appointment of Mr J. E. Warburton as Controller and Auditor General is gazetted. The Gazette also notifies tbat P.O. Robert Simpson, of the Timaru Naval Artillery Volunteers, has been dismissed from tbe New Zealand Volunteer force for insubordination on parade on 10th August last.
