The weekly returns of the Bank of England published to day show the total reserve to be £85.892,000, and tbe proportion of reserve to liabilities 58-64. New Zealand 4 per cent, 117 f ; 3£ per cents, 109 J ; 3 per cents, 103|. New Zealand frozen mutton, first quality, 3|d ; second, 2£d ; lamb, 4^d. English wheat market shows a general advance of 6d.
