The House was occupied all the afternoon and evening in Committee on the Million Loan Bill, but little progress being raade at the time of writing. fn committee on tlie Aid to the Public Works nnd Land Settlement Bill, after nearly three hours cl^cu^ion, G. J, Smith's amendment to reduce the loan to half a million was lost by yl to 25. The Bill was then reported with amendments wbich were ordered to be considered on Tuesday. The House rose at 7.15 a.m.
