Stock Markets.
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson & Co., Johnsonvilie, report that the beef for the sale consisted of some prime bullocks, the rest being plain and inferior ami light medium cows. Prices wore equal to last sale rates. A good u umber of sheep were penned, generally of indifferent quality, the bulk being wethers. No pigs were yarded. Cattle -Best, £8 2s 6d to £8 15s; others, £7 to 4:7 17s 3d ; light bullocks, £6 5s to £6 17s 6d ; cows, £A to i.4 12h 6d, equal to 19s for ox and 15a for cow beef. Sheep— Wethers, los 7d to 14s lid ; ewes, 11s to 12s 7d ; store wethers, 11s.
