(Per Press Association). Dunedin, August 24. About six weeks ago a girl, six years of age, daughter of Jas. Ewart, a settler at Cannibal Bay, near Port Molyneaux, was lost in tbe bush. Search parties failed to find any trace of the child, and on Friday Mr Ewart found a small tin, containing shells, about a mile from bis house, and on this clue of tbe direction taken by tho little one, the search was renewed on Sunday, and half a mile further on the body of tbe child was discovered . Tbe country is rough and billy and covered with busb.|
