Last evening the company favored a large audience with a concert in tbe Assembly Rooms. Tbe songs were all nicely rendered and were as follows :— " Kyrie Elieson," Miss C. Stephens ; " Lost Chord" Miss Wilson ; " Stars that shine," Miss M. Mitchell ; " Meet me," Miss Maud Beatty ; " Old love dream," Miss Metcalfe; "Aye Maria," Miss Henson ; " Sing to God," chorus by the company ; " Aye Verum," Miss Smith ; duet, " Sailor sighs," Misses Metcalfe and Wilson ; songs by Misses Stevens, May Beattie and L. Everett ; a very pretty cornet solo by Master E. Ploughman and a " Good nigbt chorus" by tbe company. We are pleased to learn this popular company wiU yjsjt Fejldjng again in about four or five months.
Explosion of a Powder Store. « (Per Press Association.) Vienna, August 1. The powder store in Funfkirchen, in Hungary, exploded, wrecking the town hall, and 150 people were injured, in most instances very seriously.
Women do their calling in the daytime, men make tbeir " calls'* 'at night.
