Stock Market.
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report (telegraphed last night to the New Zealand Times) is as follows : — A good muster of sheep came forward for the sale to-day. The bidding was brisk, and we cleared all out. Not many cattle were yarded. What were, sold at full values. The pigs entered were nat a good class, mainly forward stores, no porkers and only a few baconers. They sold at last sale prices. Cattle— Milch cows, up to £6 ; yearlings and weaners, 16s to 82s 6d ; young steers, £2 135. Sheep— Fat light wethers, 10s 9d to 10s lid ; fat ewes, 9s 6d to 10s 4d ; store wethers, 8s 3d to 10s 7d ; empty ewes, 8s 9d to 9s ; hoggets, 6s 3d. Pips— Baconers, 25s to 28s ; good half • fatted pigs, 15s to 17s, others, 11s to 12s 6d.
