Stock Market.
Mr Cbas. Carr reports : — I held stock i sales at Birmingham and Feilding on Tuesday and Friday, tbe 14th and 17th instants respectively. At Birmingham the yards were well filled with good sheep, and the sale was largely attended. Every pen was sold at recent rates. More sheep came forward at tbe Feilding sale than were advertised, and nearly all sold. Quotations ; — Birmiugbam— Lambs ,6s Id to 6s sd, fat wetbers 11s 7d, store do $8 to 10s 4d, 2 tooth ewes in lamb 10s, 4 and -6-tooth do 9s, old ewes 5s to 6s 9d. Feilding — Fat: wethers 11s Bd, store do 9s to 10s 2d, 2 tooth ewes in lamb 8s 4d, ewes in lamb (mixed ages) 7s 9d to 8s 4d, empty ewes 4s sd, shorn lambs 6s 8d to 7s Bd.
