Capture of the Third Escaped Convict.

(Per Press Association.) Patea, July 15. Last eveniag, about 7 o'clock, two youths named Locker and Irwin saw Aikmann cross the main road north of the Borough and kept him in view till he left the road and took the track towards the river. The youths then prodnced a carbine and revolver and gave chase but lost sight of the man in the thickly planted reserve, so made all ; speed to tbe bridge aud stationed themselves on tbe other end. They were : shortly rewarded by seeing Aikman walk : on the bridge. When nearly at the far end they covered him with the carbine and ordered him to put up his hands which he did at once and was taken to the lock up.
