At Ihe cry, " Stop thief 1" » number of civilians joined in the chase, and after & hard ran over fences *nd through allotments, be was blocked in a Wind alley. During the chase he exhibited • revolver, which cleared his way. When cornered he at first refused to surrender, but ultimately did so quietly, and ftt tbe station admitted he was the man. The revolver was found to be loaded.
