(Per Press Association.) Pebth Jane 29. A Swede, named Anderson, attempted to murder a young woman named wat* son to-aight, by shooting her. He fired two shots from his revolver, both of which took effect, but fortunately a vital spot -was not struck and there is every * jhance of the girl recovering though the f wounds are severe. Anderson after, as ; ie supposed, dispatching his ;urned the weapon upon himself, ;he missile passing through his heart ieath a was almost instantaneous. No ;ause is assigned.
