A Narrow Escape.

(Per Press Association) Wanganui, June 25. A fisherman named Nelson had a try* iug experience. He left New Plymouth in on open boat for Opunake on Tuesday morning, and was unablo to make land. He was picked up last night by the Moa and brought to Wanganui, when it was fonnd he was numbed with the cold. He had 'been wet through all the time and with the utmost difficulty was able to keep awake. He was five miles from land when sighted by the Moa, which was on the look ont for him. Had he been missed aud left a few hours longer ho would probable have been drowned.
