New Zealand Alliance.
(Per Press Association^ Wellington, June 24. Sir S. Stout presided at the tenth annual meeting of the New' Zealand Alliance to day, at which delegates from all parts of the. colony were present. The report snowed the income to be Sil9, expenditure £i&&. £S was subscribed in the room towards wiping off the deficit. Sir R. Stout; was unanimously re-elected President for the ensuing year, and the Vice-presidents were elected in varions parts of the colony. The following executive were elected : — Mesdames Plimmer, Reeves, Hallpwes, and Guy, Messrs Collins, Dodgshun, Harding, Martin, Lankshear, Reith and Sims, r . On the motion of the Rev. F. W.lsitt, a resolution was passed establishing "■■.^ Prohibition Colonial Council to take charge of legislative action of importance. .' This was all the business. >M^
