Accused was committed to trial at the next sitting of the District Court, to be held at Wanganui an July 6th. Bail was consented to, accused in his own recognisance for i£so and two sureties- of £25 each. - The letters complained of are of a most disgusting and revolting nature and ar« totally unfit for publication. Accused, who is about forty years of age, has only been in the district for a few months.
