(Pei Press Association.) : Wellington, .June S&K^l In the Council the Police Offences Act Amendment Bill to prevent the dehorn* ing of cattle by any painful operation was read a second time. The Divorce Bill moved by the Hon Mr Bolt, was thrown out on the second reading by 16 votes to 13. The measure was similar to McGregor's bill of last session.
