Messrs Freeman B. Jackson and Co.'s report. — We bad a fair entry of cattle at our Wanganui sale. The bidding was rather dull, but we sold nearly all out after the auctions. Sheep were well completed for at last sales rates. Pigs were dull of sale. We had a specially good lot entered ; bat prices were in favor of the purchasers. We quote : — Cattle -Fat cows, Jt'3 2s 6d ; 2-year-old Bteers, £2 16s ; 18-months old, £2 ; heifers, £2 7s 6d; yearlings, 25s to 325. Sheep— Good store wethers, 8a to 9s 6d. For ewes, the vendors' reserves were too high. Pigs— Baconers, 22s to 80s 6d ; porkers, 12s to 16s ; stores, Bs.
