THE W.C.A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

The public and members o£ the "West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association will agree with the Management Committee that it was not advisable to change the date of the coming Show, which will, therefore, be held as usual. The arguments addu ced were all in favor of not clashin? with the Canterbury Show which is held on November 9th. It may also be said that the importance, combined with the popularity, of this Show, as shown by the number of exhibits of all classes, and the enormous attendance of the public, indicate strongly that it will, in the near future, be compulsory on other similar institutions, especially in the North Island, to fix their dates so as not to clash with those of the West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association.
