(Per Press Association.' Wellington, June 12. The Wellington Racing Club will hold a two day's meeting on 22ud and 23rd Jnly. The programme, which will he issued early next week, will include steeplechases, both open and for hunters, and some flat races. The added money will be about £1000. Chkistchurch, June 11. Today's Referee publishes " Pentagrapb's " racing statistics, including returns, of the Auckland Steeplechase Meeting. Tho Hawke's Bay and Napier Park Steeplechase Meetings have yet to be held. The principal winning horses were Euroclydon £2099, Bloodshot £1311, Fabulist £1269, Gipsy Grand £1092, Bombshell £1016, Sniudrift £995, Acone £ ( J4n, Dauntlrss £807. The winning sires were : — Maxim £3343, Gorton £2597, Nordenteldt, £2339, Vanguard £2743, Castor £2040, Sou'wester £2024, Aprcmont £1781, St. George £1700. Fourteen others win over £1000. The winning owners were : — Mr Stead £4609, Hon. J. D. Ormond £3106, Mr Craig £2532, Messrs Hobbs £1834, Mr Stepbensen and Mr Hazlett £1656, Mrs Duncan £1269, Mr Douglas £1260, Mr Bourke £1250, Messrs W- Davies, Hanes, Chaffe, Quinlivan, and others won over \ £1000.
