Bowlmg News

Last evening the members of tha Feilding Winter Bowling Club opened a rink in the Assembly Rooms on felt. Although the felt was somewhat rough and I uneven in comparison with the green, a most interesting game was played and tbe enthusiasts who have formed the rink expect that with a little wear and further rolling the felt will be flattened out better and lie smoother. A friendly and most enjoyable match was played between tbe following :— J. Scott, A. R. Curtis, P. Thomson, (skip), who defeated E. Goodbehere, G. H. Saywell and Yates (skip) by 27 to 9.
