The Coal Difficulty.
[Per Press Association. Newcastle, June 2. An important test case affecting the strikers has been heard in court. The men employed in Bnown'e collieries sued the owner for wages for a week's work after the expiry of the strike notice pend in» the holding of the conference. Browo refused to pay claiming that he had not recognised the union notice and that the men must give individual notice. The Court held the union notice to be invalid and the men must give individual notice.
