1 [FROM OUR OWN COBEESPONDENT.] [ On Thursday, May 28th, a number of the Apiti Cemetery trustees proceeded to very useful work, laying ofl paths, etc. A general working bee to complete the ' work will be held next Thursday. ! The Apiti Good Templars have recently made a valuable acquisition to their 1 lodge in the shape of a new piano, which ' will no doubt be much appreciated by 1 the musical portion of the community. ' A concert w&s held in the lodgeroom on Saturday evening. A lengthy programme . was gone through, the chief items of . which were songs by Mrs Starr and Miss j R. Buckman, and a recitation by Mr i Field, lt is the intention of the Com- [ mittee to repeat these concerts monthly.
