THE MATCH AGAINST YORKSHIRE. (Per Press Association.) London May 25. Tbe Australians are all out for 262. The additional chief scores are — Trott 61, Gregory 54. When the stumps ware drawn for tbe day Yorkshire had lost five wickets for 76— Denton, 34, being the chief scorer. May 26. There were 80,000 people at Sheffield yesterda}'. Donnau scored 7. Giffen and Darling put on 45 iv 35 minutes. Gregory batted brilliantly, making his 54 in 50 minutes. Trott, who hit ten fours, was missed twice. The batting of the Yorksbiremen was mediocre. Giffen took 4 out of the 5 wickets that fell. The two fast bowlers, Jones and Eady, bumped a good deal, and frequently bit tbe batsmen. Yorkshire are all out for 118. Having to follow on they lost 6 wickets for 72, of which Brown contributed 56, and Tunicliffe 18.
