Shocking Accident.
(Per Press Association.) Napier, This Day. A shocking accident occurred at Hastings last night. A boy named Peter Jarvis was riding with the mail to J. W. Williams' place, at Frimley. He came into collision with a cart driven by a boy named Gibbs, being thrown to the ground, and the cart passed over him, completely disembowelling the lad, ■whose case is hopeless.
