A Woman Burned to Death.
(Per Press Association.) Invercakgill, May 14. „ A most lamentable accident occurred yesterday to Mrs Lncy Williams, wife of , a labouring man at Duck creek, Bluff road. She was cooking at an open firo, and as she readied up to hang a pan her skirt took firo, and sue was immediately in a blaze. The children ran oofe .. screaming, and attracted the attention of the father^ who was working some distance away. When, be reached, tha house he found bis wife on her hands q,nd knees injured frightfully, and her clothing burnt off. She died Jhis fore* * noon. The poor woman was only 33, aud leaves a family of 10.
