Gold Mining News.

I Per Press Association) Auckland, May 8. In the Waihi gold mine, for the four weeks ending 2nd inst, 2850 tons were crushed, yielding £11,847 worth of bullion, an average of 87 head of stamps was at work for the above period. For the four weeks ending 25th April, the Waitekauri Extended 153 tons for a return of i£s3l worth of bullion. This is from the Golden Cross section only, and a small ten • stamper battery.
