A Sensational Confession.
(Ter Press Association.) Brisbane, April 8. Somewhat of a sensational turn was giveu at the preliminary hearing of the charge of arson preferred against a number of bush workers of having burned the Ayrshire Downs shod duriug the recent labor trouble. A man named O'Neill, who had been sentenced to imprisonment on a charge of assaultiug and robbing a constable, confessed to hi* haviDg with thirteen others participated in the crime, and gave a graphic description as to how the act was committed. A large stock of electro plate goods at moat moderate prices is now on show at Joseph Darragh's store, Feilding. Inspection invited.
