Oddfellows' Conference.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, April 8. It was resolved, That it is desirable that a board of dire ctors be established in this colony, with meetings of delefrom districts every three years, but returns to be compiled annually to 31st December. Bro. Jull moved, and it was carried, That a fund be established, to be called the 1.0.0. F., M.U., New Zealand Superannuation Fund, to provide annuities for all new members, annuity to commence at the age of (55 years ; that a table bo adopted that ivilJ ensure au aunuity of 10s per week, or any multiplex or divisible part of 10s, with a minimum of 5s per week ; that the fund be managed by a committee of not less than three nor more than nine members, to be elected by districts which have adopted the tables, the votiug power to be the same as adopted by this Conference, the first district adopting the tables to elect the committee for the first three years ; that it be optional on districts to bring the tables into force, but on the tables being adopted in any district it shall be compulsory for all members initiated subsequent to such adoption to contribute to such fund, and to a sickness table with contributions and benefits ceasing at 65, provided that iv the event of a triennial movable committee and board of directors being established the control of the superannuation shall vest in the board of directors. It was decided, That lodges be requested, when making fresh arrangements with their medical officers, to endeavour to have inserted a provision to allow visiting members to be placed on the doctor's list without medical examination.
