The Matabele Rising.

i Per Press Association) Capetown, March 29. The son of Lobengula is aiding in the rising. One thousand women and children are in the Laager at Buluwayo. Tbe rebels number abont 8000. The Chartered Company do not believe it will end in anything Tery serions. March 30. The rebel natives are collecting 30 miles from Buluwayo, and destroying crops. Forty women were rescued at Inseya, and the Matabele retired with heavy loss. Two hundred and fifty people are in the Laager at Gievelo. They have some Maxim guns. The whites in the Filibusing district were massacred after a desperate resistence. Five hundred rifles have been despatched from Mafeking to Buluwayo. The Boers are reported to be desirous to be allowed to proceed to the protec* tion of their countrymen in the district.
