Soudan Expedition.
o (Per Press Association.) Constantinople, March 26. The Times declares that last autumn the Porte carried on an intrigue with Osman Digna against the Britiah. Calcutta, March 27. The Indian contingent has offered their services for the Soudan expedition if required, while two powerful Sheiks have offered their aid. Cairo, March 27. It is reported that the Italian troops in Adowa are badly organised and without discipline. A majority of the commissioners who have control of the Egyptian Caisse de La Dette, voted the grant for the expedition. The representatives of France and Russia protested against the action as illegal and then retired. General Kitchener remains at Akashet until the railway is completed to that point. Camels and cavalry will advance to Surada, where a body of 1000 Dervishes is reported to have appeared.
