Bootmakers' Strike.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, March 23. The President, Treasurer and Secretary of the Federated Boot Trade Council in a joint letter to the newspapers, commenting on the correspondence with the Manufacturers Association conclude as follows :— " We are sorry to state that through the action of the Manufacturers Association there is every probability of a general strike throughout our federation." _^__ __^^___ I
