Wanganui Education Board.
The regular monthly meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present— Messrs (r. Carson (chairman), Sauson, Fry, Bridge, Baker, Hurley, Beckett. F. Piraui, M.H.R., and Rev Ross. KLK( TION OK MEMBERS. The result of the election of ;•> members was as follows : — Fred Piraui ••■ 79 F. Y. Lethbridgc 04 B. S. Robbins 00 H. S. Bridge 41 R, E. Beckett 1U One hundred committees voted, tho old members defeated being Messrs Bridge and Beckett. Pukeroa. — G. P. Purnell appointed master. Palmers. — Cannot acknowledge tho school until the Board's conditions are complied with. Ohingaiti. — Samuel Campbell to be sent fro La Feilding and Miss Daisy Stevens .to take his place from Waitotara. Makiuo. — Plight names to be sent for headmastersliip. Foxtou — W. E. Herd to be transferred from Mauaia. Aramoho. — Arthur Blythe appointed pupil teacher, and Miss Una Powle junior assistant. Waugauui.— The committee have sent in a long letter declining to accede to the Board's recommendation re altering the staff of the school.
