Place Handicap, H miles— Warpaint 1 , The Enchanter 2, Chesterman 3. Betting—7 to 1 Warpaint. Won by a short head. Time, 2min 40sec. Steeplechase, 3 miles — Grandwing 1, Quicklight 2, Stockwell 3. Betting— 9 to 2 Graudwing. All fell except Grandwing. Time, 7min 7|sec. Loch Plate, 1} miles — Hova 1, Quiver 2, O'Trigger 3, Auraria 4. Betting — Even money Hova, 7 to 2 against Quiver, 6to 1 Auraria, 10 to 1 O'Trigger. In the home stretch a desperate straggle ensued between Quiver and Hova, the latter forging past in the last half furlong and winning by three quarters of a length ; O'Trigger seven lengths away and Auraria a bad last. Time, 3min 7$ sec Farewell Handicap, 1 mile—Homespun 1, Laura 2, Solanum3. Betting — 10 to 1 Homespun. Won cleverly by three- quarters of a length. Time, lmin 41isec.
