Mr W. R. Wilson oxpresses the opinion that Wallace will win tbo St. Lcger and Champion Stakes, and Hova or Waterfall tho Australian Cup. A petition is in course of signature asking the' stewards of the Mauawatu Racing Club to reconsider their decision in tbo ease of Raugipai, trainer and jockey, who bavo been disqualified for six months.
